Use the following instructions to install the IP Agent software:
IMPORTANT: You must have a valid IP Agent Release 7.0 license, and your Avaya Communication Manager server must be properly configured for the license before you can use IP Agent Release 7.0 in Road Warrior or Telecommuter mode or to control an Avaya telephone (via the server).

Installation Definition:
Standard - This is the standard IP Agent installation program for installing the product for the first time or for upgrading one of the previous releases. This setup type does a full installation without any restrictions. The user will be prompted for the appropriate information during the installation process.
Upgrade - This setup type does a product update and it requires that the computer already has a current version of Avaya IP Agent Release 7.0 installed. This setup type will update Avaya IP Agent to the currently supported release and will run without requiring any user input.

A good query consists of three things:
