- Octel 200-300 message servers with Octel Digital networking
(Serenade Digital)
- VPIMv2 (Voice Profile Internet Mail)
- SMTP/MIME
In addition, Message Networking supports:
- LDAP-based subscriber directory updates between Message Networking
and Avaya Modular Messaging with Avaya Message Store systems.
- Remote LDAP server access, which supports:
- Customer synchronization of the Message Networking Directory
with other general
enterprise directories (personnel directories)
- Third-party reporting applications to gain access to the
Message Networking subscriber
directory
- Email client searches of employees within an enterprise
