Avaya System Products using a Sun Microsystems Operating System:
Avaya system products include an Operating System with the product when it is delivered. The Avaya Call Management System (CMS) and the Avaya Interactive Response (IR) are both shipped with an operating system from Sun Microsystems. Actions to be taken on those products are described below.

CMS Sun Blade 100, Sun Blade 150, Sun Fire V880, Sun Fire V890 systems may be affected. V880 and V890 systems will only be affected if the standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection (not in PCI slot) is used. This is the standard interface used for CMS systems. This issue will be addressed in accordance with Avaya's Product Security Vulnerability Response Policy.

IR 280R and Sun Blade 150 systems are affected by this vulnerability. Avaya recommends that customers install patch 1232569-02 or subsequent for systems with Solaris 10.
