Potential Impact: Unauthorized Access and Local Unauthorized Access
Summary: A potential security vulnerability has been indentified in Aries PA-RISC emulation software running on HP-UX platforms which could allow local unauthorized access. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the name CVE-2007-5946 to this issue.
Affected Versions:HP-UX B.11.23 and B.11.31 running Aries PA-RISC emulation software.

No Avaya system products are vulnerable, as Aries PA Emulator is not installed by default.
