mod_jk is an Apache HTTP Server module to allow communications between the Apache HTTP Server and the Apache Tomcat Server.
mod_jk was found to contain an issue where a specially crafted HTTP message could potentially allow the use of directory traversal to access protected system files on the Apache Tomcat Server. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the name CVE-2007-1860 to this issue.
