Command parameters

ParameterDescription

broadcastmask <A.B.C.D>

Specifies the 32-bit mask used by the selected VLAN interface to make forwarding decisions based on the destination IP address of the incoming UDP broadcast traffic. If you do not specify a broadcast mask value, the switch uses the mask of the interface to which the forwarding list is attached.

maxttl <1-16>

Specifies the timet-to-live (TTL) value inserted in the IP headers of the forwarded UDP packets coming out of the selected VLAN interface. If you do not specify a TTL value, the default value (4) is used.

portfwdlist <1-128>

Specifies the ID of the UDP forwarding list to attach to the selected VLAN interface.

vlan <1-4094>

Specifies the VLAN ID on which to attach the UDP forwarding list. This parameter is optional, and if not specified, the UDP forwarding list is applied to the interface specified in the interface vlan command.
