ip rip proxy-announce enable (Ethernet Interface Configuration)

Enables proxy announcements for the RIP interface. When you enable proxy announcements, the source of a route and the next hop are treated equally when the switch processes received updates. The next hop is advertised as the source, not the switch.

Syntax

ip rip [port <port>] proxy-announce enable
default ip rip [port <port>] proxy-announce enable
no ip rip [port <port>] proxy-announce enable
