Programming Allowed Phone Numbers

If Outcalling is permitted, or if users will be specifying external phone numbers for www.messenger for PARTNER Messaging callback numbers, an Allowed Phone Numbers List (#407) can be created to identify numbers to which Outcalling or callback is allowed.

For PARTNER ACS Release 4.0 or later, refer to Form F5 to see if the Allowed List Assignment column is checked for PARTNER Messaging extensions. If the Allowed List Assignment column is checked, continue with the following procedures to create a Allowed Phone Numbers List and then assign the list to all PARTNER Messaging extensions; otherwise, skip to Call Answer Service.

Note:
If the PARTNER Messaging extensions were restricted to Inside Only using Outgoing Call Restriction (#401), Outcalling will not work unless an Allowed Phone Numbers List is created and assigned. Outcalls can be made only to the numbers included in the list.

Assigning the Allowed Phone Numbers List to the Extensions

The Allowed Phone Numbers List that was created for Outcalling should be assigned to all voice messaging system extensions.
