PARTNER Messaging Diagnostics and Maintenance

PARTNER Messaging Diagnostics and Maintenance allows users to perform the following tasks:

• Reset the system (that is, reboot the system processor).
• Request a System Backup.
• Request a System Restore.
• Change the System Administrator’s password.
• Make an entry in the Permanent Trouble Log.
• Change the Daily System Maintenance Time.
• Assign IP Addresses.

Not all capabilities are available to all users. The following section describes user access and security requirements.
