PARTNER Messaging displays the message, "PC Card is absent or not a valid backup card " if there is no Port Card in the PCMCIA slot or, "PC Card invalid" if the Port Card is not recognized as a valid Port Card. In both of these instances, PARTNER Messaging aborts the Backup and returns to the System Manager Options Menu. If a valid Port Card is in place and all voice messaging ports are idle, PARTNER Messaging busies-out the voice ports, displays the message "Please wait…..the system is being backed up" and initiates the Backup process.
