A search request consists of words
and boolean operators. All words are case insensitive, which means that hElLo
is the same as HELLO. The boolean operators are the symbols '+'
or '&' (for AND), '-'
or '|' (for OR) ( "|" is
the character above the "\" key), and '!'
(NOT).
Which means "search for the word hyunday OR hyundai". You could also try using the wild-card:
hyunda*
Which means "search for anything beginning with hyunda".
Now let's say you're looking at a car dealership site, and you want to find something on sports cars and trucks, but not Porsches. You would type:
sports* | trucks* & !porsches
Which means "anything beginning with sports OR anything beginning with trucks AND NOT anything with porsches".
