Adding a mailbox gateway

Using Messaging you can add a mailbox gateway to connect to other mail systems and send text messages from the storage server. For more information, see Network overview.

Procedure

  1. On the Administration menu, click Messaging > IMAP/SMTP Settings (Storage) > Mail Options.
  2. In the Mailbox Gateway Machine Name field, select the host name that you entered in Administering the external SMTP host.
  3. Keep the Server Alias field blank.
  4. Click Save.
