About this task
You must add a privileged administrator login that is a member of the SUSERS group. This login has the most advanced administrative access in the system with the exception of the root login. This ensures system security and prevents unauthorized access to your Messaging system.
Procedure
- Log on to the System Management Interface. For more information, see Logging in to Messaging.
- On the Administration menu, click .
- From the Select Action, select Add Login.
- Select Privileged Administrator.
For more information, see Administrator Accounts field descriptions.
- Click Submit.
The System displays the Administrator Accounts -- Add Login: Privileged Administrator page.
- On the Administrator Accounts -- Add Login: Privileged Administrator page, enter information in the following fields:
Login name
Date after which account is disabled-blank to ignore (YYYY-MM-DD): Clear this field
Password or key
Re-enter password or key
Note Do not change other default values in the Administrator Accounts -- Add Login: Privileged Administrator page.
