Recording an audio prompt

Procedure

Open the application that you use to record .wav files, such as Microsoft Sound Recorder.
Set the recording parameters according to your requirement.
Speak into a microphone that is connected to the computer and record the greeting.
Assign a name to the .wav file. Make sure that the resulting file name on the computer has the .wav file extension as part of the name.
Play the greeting on the computer before you transfer the file to the greetings source.
