Recording the operator (live attendant) properties

About this task

Before upgrading the Messaging system, record the currently set properties for operator that you need to re-enter after the upgrade process.

Log on to the System Management Interface. For more information, see Logging in to Messaging.
On the Administration menu, click Messaging > Server Settings (Application) > Attendant/Operator.
Record the currently set properties for operator. From the Release 6.1, these properties are managed from Messaging > Messaging System (Storage) > Sites.
Note
If a site is served by multiple application servers (that is an application server cluster), this setting are identical on all of them. You only need to record it from one of the application servers in the cluster.
