Upgrading the Messaging application servers

Procedure

  1. Back up the Messaging system files. For more information, see Backing up system files.
  2. Back up the Messaging application files. For more information, see Backing up application files.
  3. Record the operator (live attendant) properties. For more information, see Recording the operator (live attendant) properties.
  4. Record the currently installed language packs that you need to re-install after the upgrade process. For more information, see Recording the installed language packs.
  5. Upgrade the System Platform software. For more information, see Upgrading the System Platform.
  6. Upgrade the Messaging system. For more information, see Upgrading the Messaging system.
  7. Install the latest patches. For more information, see Patch installation overview.
  8. Set operator (live attendant) properties. For more information, see Setting operator (live attendant) properties.
  9. Install the language packs. For more information, see Installing language pack.
  10. Install the voice message form. For more information, see Installing the voice message form.
  11. Upgrade additional application servers.
