In Messaging, you can perform certain time-dependent tasks with the use of the Linux system clock. For example, you can place a time stamp on voice messages, and schedule a backup of critical system data.
When you install the system, the clock is set. However, check the clock when you administer your storage server initially. You must also check the clock every month and during a change in the Daylight Savings Time.
Ensure Messaging is running.
For information on changing the system time, see Administering Avaya Aura System Platform.
