You must use REMOTE logins only to establish a PPP session with the Messaging server through the modem interface. You must not use REMOTE logins to access a shell, a SAT, CDR records, or the Web pages.
You must use ADMINISTRATIVE logins to gain access to a shell, a SAT or the Web pages but not to establish a PPP session or to acquire CDR records.
You must use a CDR login specifically to retrieve CDR records stored on the server. You must not use the CDR login for any other purpose.
REMOTE logins: When creating a REMOTE login, you must specify the login name, but you must not specify group membership or select a shell. You must not change a REMOTE login to an ADMINISTRATIVE or CDR type of login. You must delete a REMOTE login and create a new login.
CDR logins: When creating a CDR login, you must enter CDR_user as the login group.
ADMINISTRATIVE logins: The system controls the access provided to an ADMINISTRATIVE login by checking whether the system assigned a shell and access profile to the login. To assign the access profile, you must assign an additional group to the login.
