With the Avaya Aura® Messaging flexible storage capability, you can use the Microsoft Exchange as a third party storage destination. The Avaya message storage server stores user properties, name, and greeting recordings while the Exchange server stores all voice messages of users who have an Exchange account. Messaging supports 20,000 users with Microsoft Exchange as a storage destination.
Messaging supports the G.711 and GSM 6.10 encoding formats. To determine how much space you must allocate for message storage, use the formulas to calculate KB of disk space per minute of recorded message provided by the encoding format you choose.
