You must perform this task if you plan to use Microsoft Exchange as your storage destination. The Avaya message store is automatically used and no further action is required on this Web page to use the Avaya message store.

The system displays the Storage Destinations Web page.

The Messaging system:
Tries to log in to the account.
Checks that a corresponding mailbox has been created for that account.
If either test fails, then the system displays an error.
External storage destinations require specific settings on the System Ports and Access Web page. If you enable Exchange as your message store in Step 2 and save the changes, the system displays a message and sets the value in the:
Privacy Enforcement Level field to Email
Automatic Mail Forwarding field to yes
