Disabling proxy servers in Microsoft Internet Explorer

About this task

To connect directly to the services port, you must disable the proxy servers in Internet Explorer.

Start Internet Explorer.
Click Tools > Internet Options.
Click the Connections tab.
Click LAN Settings.
Clear the Use a proxy server for your LAN option.
Tip
To reenable the proxy server, select the Use a proxy server for your LAN option again.
Click OK to close each dialog box.
