This section describes the procedure to upgrade the Messaging software from Release 6.0.1 SP3 or 6.1 to Release 6.2 for multi-server configuration.
You can perform this upgrade using one of the following methods:
Onsite by connecting the laptop to the services port on the server.
Remotely by accessing the server through the corporate network.
The upgrade procedure involves:
Upgrading System Platform and the Messaging template.
Installing the required patches.
Note Multiple languages for the Messaging pilot number and auto attendant are available only after you reinstall the language packs on the application servers after upgrading the application servers.
