Recording the dial plan configuration data

Important

This procedure is applicable if you are upgrading from the Release 6.0.1 SP3 to Release 6.2.

Before upgrading the Messaging system, record the currently set properties for dial plan that you need to re-enter after the upgrade process.

Log on to the Messaging System Management Interface. For more information, see Logging in to Messaging.
On the Administration menu, click Messaging > Server Settings (Application) > Dial Rules.
Record the currently set properties for dial plan. From the Release 6.1 onwards, these properties are managed from Messaging > Messaging System (Storage) > Sites.
Note
If a site is served by multiple application servers (that is an application server cluster), this setting is identical on all of them. You only need to record it from one of the application servers in the cluster.
