Testing the LDAP connection

Use the Test LDAP Connection Web page to verify that you have administered the networked machines correctly. The test connects to the LDAP server on the selected machine using the administered IP address, port, name, and password.

Procedure

  1. On the Administration menu, click Messaging > Diagnostics > LDAP Test Connection.
  2. Select a machine from the drop-down list.
  3. Click Run Test.

    The system displays the test results.
