Viewing backup logs

When you back up data, the system creates an image as a tar file that contains information, such as the type of data sets that the system backed up, whether the backup was successful, and and how the system recorded the data. Use the Backup Logs Web page to verify the success or failure of a backup.

Procedure

On the Administration menu, click Server (Maintenance) > Data Backup/Restore > Backup Logs.
On the Backup Logs Web page, check the backup log that you want to preview or restore. To select the log, click the option.
If no entries exist in the backup log, you will see a message stating that there is no record of any backup.
Click View.
The system displays the View/Restore Data Results Web page.
Enter the Username and Password for file transfer settings.
Click Preview.
