Avaya Experience PortalR.8.1.2 SP2

Avaya Experience Portal R 8.1.2 Service Pack 2 includes the following changes:

Google Dialogflow - support of reverse proxy

Experience Portal supports the configuration of reverse proxy for Google Dialogflow.

MPP port utilization alerts or alarms

Experience Portal supports real-time alerts through alarms and a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) trap. The following events are generated when Media Processing Platform (MPP) port usage exceeds a certain percentage of capacity.
  • New log Event PSYSM00059 is generated when the MPP port use exceeds the configured high threshold.

  • New log Event PSYSM00060 is generated when the MPP port use exceeds the configured low threshold.

  • New log Event PSYSM00061 is generated when the MPP port use falls below the configured low threshold.

Ability to select default speech engine for ASR

Experience Portal supports enabling default Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) selection when multiple ASRs are assigned to the application.

NuanceMix DLGaaS - ability to request different dialog or bot from the same OD or VXML application

Experience Portal supports Nuance Mix Dialog as a service to call multiple dialogs or bots within the same call.

Capability to export reports in .csv format

Experience Portal supports exporting standard, custom EP, and POM reports in .csv format.

Capability to reset application cache using webservice

Experience Portal supports resetting the MPP application cache through a webservice.

Audit log or Alarms log functionality refinement

Experience Portal supports enhanced audit, alarm logging, optimized queuing logic, and improved database connection pooling to improve performance and ensure that log entries are processed efficiently.

New legal name in software and documentation

Avaya LLC is the company's new legal name. All instances of Avaya Inc in the documentation and software are updated to Avaya LLC. This includes names on the User Interface, all Linux files, and scripts.

Platform upgrades:

  • Upgraded Apache Tomcat to 9.0.89.

  • Upgraded embedded Postgres to 16.03.

  • Upgraded RHEL 8.10 for bare metal and OVA in line with Aura.

Security upgrades:

  • Added security headers in Avaya Experience Portal.

  • Updated third-party libraries to address various security vulnerabilities.

  • Disabled support for static key ciphers.

  • Disabled support of cryptographically weak hash-based message authentication codes (HMACs).

  • Remediated Qualys, Coverity, and Blackduck critical issues.

    • Added option to configure the nuance mix domains other than nuance.com.
