Configuring the connection to the Avaya license server

Before you begin

Important:

If a standalone WebLM is used, install the WebLM trusted certificates on EPM. For more information, see Installing trusted certificate for secure communications with Standalone Avaya WebLM.

Note that a standalone WebLM refers to the standalone WebLM deployments or WebLM deployed on System Manager.

Log on to the EPM web interface using an account with the Administration user role.
On the EPM menu, click Security > Licensing.
In the License Server URL field, click the editing tool () .

The web interface displays the License Server URL page.
In the License Server URL field, enter the new URL.

The URL must be in the following format: https://<WebLM-machine>:port/WebLM/LicenseServer, where <Weblm-machine> is the hostname or IP address of the WebLM server and :port consists of a colon followed by the port number for the WebLM server. If WebLM uses the default configuration, specify :52233.
Click Verify to ensure that the URL is correct.
If your Experience Portal system can connect to the Avaya license server, click Apply > OK to confirm.

Experience Portal immediately polls the Avaya WebLM server to retrieve the current license information. If the process is successful, Experience Portal updates the fields on the Licensing page.
