Avaya Experience Portal uses the oAuth2 authentication process to establish a secure communication channel with Nuance Mix DLGaaS. You must configure the Nuance Mix credentials Client ID and Client Secret on the Nuance Mix bot. These are the Nuance Mix Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions. They are generated as part of the Nuance Mix process to onboard the customer onto their respective Nuance Application. These credentials are generated in Nuance Mix. You can configure these credentials in the application page of Avaya Experience Portal or the Nuance DLGaaS ASR server page.
Experience Portal uses application credentials if they are configured. Else, it uses speech server credentials.
If you configure the Nuance Mix credentials Client ID and Client Secret in the Avaya Experience Portal application page, they are dynamically updated without restarting the MPP. This means the credentials can be changed mid-call (in the application and the speech server), and these new credentials are used for the next VXML load grammar. If you configure these credentials in the Nuance DLGaaS ASR server page, they are not dynamically updated without restarting the MPP.

The Client Secret credential is encrypted when it is stored in Experience Portal. It is not displayed in its original or encrypted form. Instead, it is displayed as a series of "*". |
