A call into the Media Server interprocess communication library failed.

About this task

This event might or might not indicate a problem. An error event indicates some important functions failed. For example, a send message failed. A warning event might occur during normal operation, do not take immediate action. For example, failures might occur during an attempt to reconnect to the Session Manager after a restart. The CCXML will log a warning event. The CCXML interpreter waits a few seconds, and then tries to reconnect to the Session Manager.

Procedure

If this is a warning event, do not take immediate action. If this is an error event and the problem persists:

Stop and restart the Media Server from the EPM.
If the above action does not correct the problem, reboot the Media Server.
