The Media Server System Manager could not process the Reboot or Halt command.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. On the Media Server, type ps -ef | grep Media Servermon .
  2. Ensure that the Media Servermon process is running.
  3. If the Media Servermon process is not running, review the /var/log/messages file to identify errors that caused the Media Servermon to exit.
  4. Reboot or halt the Media Server from the command line on the Media Server.
