PTTS_00015

Event text

TTS server {0} has had at least {1} consecutive errors and has been disabled. It must be restarted.

Event level

Error event. No alarm is generated.

Trigger component

Media Server TTS provider that runs as part of the SessionManager process

Problem description

{0} - The name of the TTS server.

{1} - The number of the consecutive errors.

An excessive number of consecutive errors occurred on the specified TTS server. The Media Server removed the TTS server as a resource and marked the TTS server as disabled. The usage of other TTS servers in the Avaya Experience Portal system is not being affected.

noteNote:

ASR errors are aggregated on the Media Server. When viewing the TTS errors on the EPM, you might only see one error for the past hour.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Either use listss.php on the Media Server or go to Service Menu > Resources > Speech Servers to view the status of the TTS server. If the server has a value of false, it is disabled.
  2. Review the $AVAYA_MPP_Home/logs/process/SessMgr.log on the Media Server for a complete list of errors.
  3. Review the log files on the TTS server.
  4. After resolving the errors, either restart the TTS server or restart the Media Server from the EPM so that the Media Server can re-enable the TTS server.
