Error event.  A minor alarm is generated by default. You can change the alarm severity from the EPM Servers > Alarm Codes menu in EPM.

Problem description

The Email Service encountered an error: Outbound queue size has reached the maximum limit.

{0} - The request Id associated with the SendEmail request and the Universal Call ID

{1} - A configured application name in EP

{2} - The From email address and the To email address

{3} – Session ID

{4} – The error description

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Verify that the configuration parameters for the email connection are correct.
  2. Verify that no firewall is preventing communications with the mail server.
  3. Verify that the mail server is accepting connections.

    The server might be under maintenance.

  4. If the problem persists, contact Avaya Technical Support.
