Problem description

The email component encountered an error when connecting to the Mail Server.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Verify the configuration parameters for the email connection are correct.
  2. Verify that no firewall is preventing communications with the Mail Server.
  3. Verify that the Mail Server is accepting connections.

    The Mail Server might be under maintenance.

  4. If the problem persists, contact Avaya Technical Support.
