Add menu items to an existing menu group

To add a menu item to an existing menu group, complete the following procedures:

Step	Task
1	Define a unique extensions directory as described in Defining a unique extensions directory.
2	Define the new menu items in the configuration menu.xml file as described in Defining new menu items under an existing group.
3	Define the labels that will be displayed for the menu items in the display menu.properties file as described in Defining a label for the new menu item.
4	Set the access permissions by defining the user roles that can see the menu items in the features.xml file as described in Setting user access permissions for the new menu items.
5	Define the labels that will be displayed on the role details web page for the features in the display features.properties file as described in Defining labels for features in the new menu item.
