Adding an HTTP connection

Log in to the EPM web interface.

On the EPM main menu, click Home > Multi-Media configuration > SMS > HTTP Connections.

On the HTTP Connections page, click Add.

The system displays the Add HTTP Connection page.

From the Zone field, select the name of the zone.

In the Name field, type the name of the HTTP connection.

From the Enable field, select the relevant option.

The options available are Yes and No.

Select the accurate transport protocol.

The available options are TCP and TLS.

	Note:
	For Avaya OneCloud CPaaS and AT&T Landline Texting connectors, select TLS.

Enter the host address of the SMSC.

	Note:
	For Avaya OneCloud CPaaS connector, the host address is https://%3Cregion%3E.cpaas.avayacloud.com/v2/accounts/overview.

Enter the port number that is used for the SMS connection.

Enter the path of the SMSC.

Enter the user name.

	Note:
	For Avaya OneCloud CPaaS connector, the user name is the Account SID on the OneCloud CPaaS dashboard at https://<region>.cpaas.avayacloud.com/v2/accounts/overview

Enter the password.

	Note:
	For Avaya OneCloud CPaaS connector, the password is the Auth Token on the OneCloud CPaaS dashboard athttps://<region>.cpaas.avayacloud.com/v2/accounts/overview .

Enter your Application Programming Interface (API) ID to facilitate your connection to the connector.

In the Connector field, select the connector.

The options available are Avaya OneCloud CPaaS, AT&T Landline Texting, AOS SMS, Clickatell, i2SMS, ONE WAY SMS, WEBTEXT, and Zipwhip.

From the Type field, select the type of connector.

The options available are Outgoing and Incoming and Outgoing.

From the Use HTTP Proxy field, select Yes.

The available options are Yes and No. You can configure the subsequent fields only if you select Yes.

Enter the address of the proxy server.

Enter the proxy port number.

The default port number is 8000.

Enter the sender ID that can be either a short code or a long number.

Select one or more organizations from the Organization list.

(Optional) Click the Additional Entry option and enter subsequent short codes or long numbers.

Click Save.
