View Email Servers page field descriptions

Use this page to view the e-mail servers.

Column Description
Name Name of the e-mail server.
Default
The status of the email server. The options are:

  • Current Default: The email server is set as the current default.

  • <Make Default>: The email server is not set as the current default.

noteNote:

Only one email server can be set as the current default email server.
Enable
The options are:

  • Yes: Sends e-mail notifications when alarms are generated.

  • No: Does not send e-mail notifications when alarms are generated.
SMTP Server Address IP address of the email server.
SMTP Port Email server port.
Use Authentication
The options are:

  • Yes: The Avaya Experience Portal system verifies if the user has permissions to send or receive e-mails.

  • No: The Avaya Experience Portal system does not verify the user permissions to send or receive e-mails.

Transport Protocol The transport protocol used for sending or receiving e-mails.
The options are:

  • TLS

  • TCP
