Edit Scheduled Report page field descriptions

Use this page to edit the existing scheduled standard or custom reports.

Field Description
Report Name Name of the scheduled report that you are editing.

Schedule Date and Time group

Field Description
Not Scheduled Disables the scheduling of a report.
One time at Generates the report only on the specified date and time. This is a one time report.
Every 15 minutes Generates the report every 15 minutes. The content is based on the previously completed 15 minute period. For example, 8:00:00 to 8:14:59, or 8:15:00 to 8:29:29, and so on.

This scheduler option is only available when Proactive Outreach Manager (POM) is installed on the EPM. It is only intended for use with POM reports.

Every 30 minutes Generates the report every 30 minutes. The content is based on the previously completed 30 minute period. For example, 8:00:00 to 8:29:59, or 8:30:00 to 8:59:29, and so on.

Hourly Generates the report 30 minutes past the beginning of each hour.

Content is based on the last completed full hour or full day as selected in the Report Date And Time section.

Daily at Generates the report every day at the specified time.
Weekly on Generates the report every week on the specified day and time.
Monthly on Generates the report every month on the specified day and time.

Report Date and Time group

Field Description
Predefined Values The options are:
  • All Dates and Times

  • Today

  • Yesterday

  • This Week

  • Last Week

  • This Month

  • Last Month

Last completed Limits the report to a given number of completed days or hours.

Enter the number of days or hours in the associated text field, then select Days or Hours from the associated drop-down list. You can enter a whole number from 1 to 99.

The number of days is calculated from midnight to 11:59 p.m.

For example, if a report is scheduled to run at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and you had entered 3 in this field and selected Days from the drop-down, the report will include all activity starting on Sunday at midnight through the end of Tuesday.

Last completed 15 minutes Limits the report content to the previously completed 15 minute period. For example, 8:00:00 to 8:14:59, or 8:15:00 to 8:29:29, and so on.

This option is automatically selected when you select the Every 15 Minutes schedule option.

Last completed 30 minutes Limits the report content to the previously completed 30 minute period. For example, 8:00:00 to 8:29:59, or 8:30:00 to 8:59:29, and so on.

This option is automatically selected when you select the Every 30 Minutes schedule option.

Between Limits the report to a specified range of dates. The default range covers a seven day time span that ends with the current date and time.

If you want a different range of dates:

  • In the Start Date/Time field, enter the start date using the format dd-mmm-yyyy or click the calendar icon to select the date from a pop-up calendar. After the start date, enter the start time using a 24-hour format and the same timezone as the EPM. For example, you could enter 03-Mar-2007 16:26:10.

  • The default for this field is one week prior to the current date at time 00:00:00.

  • In the End Date/Time field, enter the end date using the format dd-mmm-yyyy or click the calendar icon to select the date from a pop-up calendar. After the end date, enter the end time using a 24-hour format and the same timezone as the EPM. For example, you could enter 10-Mar-2007 16:26:10.

  • The default for this field is the day prior to the current date at time 23:59:59.

Notification Method group

Field or Button Description
Send e-mail to Specify the e-mail addresses to which you want to send the e-mail notification. You can specify multiple e-mail addresses separated by semicolons or commas.

The e-mail address can contain only the alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z and 0-9) and the following special characters: ., _, %, +, -, @.

For example, service@avaya.com, Tech.Support@avaya.com, tech_support@avaya.com, Support_01@avaya.com.

Include report output Select Include report output to send the report output with the e-mail notification.
Update RSS Feed Updates the RSS Feed for this schedule whenever the report output is generated and the optional record threshold is achieved. A subscriber to this RSS feed must have permissions to access the reports.

To subscribe to a schedule’s RSS Feed, click on the list of scheduled reports using an RSS enabled web browser such as Internet Explorer 7 and later.

Generate Event Logs event code PCDH_00110 when a report is generated. You can use Avaya Experience Portal Log Viewer to view these events. Use the Alarm Codes page to map this event into a minor Alarm.
Enable Record Threshold restriction Controls the generation of notifications for report output. The system generates a notification only when the total record count in the report reaches the specified minimum value.

Alternatively, you can specify the record threshold as a percentage of calls that matched the selected filter criteria over the specified timeframe for the report. For example, if you set the call duration filter to greater than 5 minutes an the report is scheduled to run every hour with a record threshold of 20%, you would only receive an email notification for those hours when at least 2 in 10 calls lasted for at least 5 minutes.

Output Type Specify the output type for the scheduled report.
The options are:
  • xls: Microsoft Excel file.

  • pdf: PDF file.

  • csv: Comma separated value file.
