Use this page to configure system parameters that affect video.

Description

Stream Bitrate

The number of bits that are fetched or processed per unit of time.

Enter a value in the range 0 to 19200.

	Note:
	If the value in this field is set to zero (0), the Stream Bitrate negotiations between the MPP and the SIP endpoint is disabled, and the Stream Bitrate is set to the default value of 1920 (X100). It is recommended to set the value to 0 and fine tune the setting based on your network.

IFrame Rate

The minimum time interval, in seconds, between two consecutive IFrames.

For example, to get one IFrame in every 20 seconds, enter 20 in the IFrame Rate field.

	Note:
	An I-frame is a single frame of digital content that the compressor examines independent of the frames that precede and follow it, and stores all the data that is required to display the frame. I-frames contain the maximum number of bits and therefore take up more space on the storage medium.

Enter a value in the range 1 to 99999.

The default is 10 seconds.

Default Background Color

Default background color of the layout.

For Media tags or regions where no background color is specified, Avaya Experience Portal uses the default background color that you select in this field.

The options are:

Red: Numeric value representing the red component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.
Green: Numeric value representing the green component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.
Blue: Numeric value representing the blue component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.

The resultant color is a combination of the specified red, green and blue components.

Minimum Picture Interval section

Minimum Picture Interval (MPI) is the time interval used to define the frame rate. MPI uses the CIF, QCIF, and SQCIF formats.

Enter a value in the range 1 to 32. The default is 2.

MPI value is typically driven by your application & media needs. For example, if you have fast moving videos, you need to specify a lower MPI.

For CIF, QCIF and SQCIF, if the value is zero, the screen format is disabled otherwise the frame rate is defined by (29.97/MPI). For example: for value 1 = 30 FPS, for 2 = 15 FPS, and so on.

Field	Description
CIF	Common Intermediate Format. CIF specifies the Minimum Picture Interval for SQCIF resolution. The screen resolution for CIF is 352x288 pixels.
QCIF	Quarter CIF. QCIF specifies the Minimum Picture Interval for QCIF resolution. The screen resolution for QCIF is 176x144 pixels.
SQCIF	Sub-Quarter CIF. SQCIF specifies the Minimum Picture Interval for SQCIF resolution. The screen resolution for SQCIF is 128x96 pixels.

Default Font section

The default font values are used if no font related information is provided in the applications.

Field

Description

Name

Name of the default font.

Location

Local path on MPP where the fonts are installed. If the Location field is blank, the MPP uses default path under MPP install directory.

There are 12 fonts installed in the default directory.

The font names are case sensitive.

	Note:
	Only TTF fonts are supported.

Color

Color of the default font.

The options are:

Red: Numeric value representing the red component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.
Green: Numeric value representing the green component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.
Blue: Numeric value representing the blue component in the resultant color, value is between 0 and 255.

The resultant color is a combination of the specified red, green and blue components.

Medium Font Size section

The font point size to make the fonts smaller or larger.

Enter a value in the range 0 to 32.

Field	Description
CIF	Specifies the Medium Font Size for CIF resolution.
QCIF	Specifies the Medium Font Size for QCIF resolution.
SQCIF	Specifies the Medium Font Size for SQCIF resolution.
