Avaya IP Agent R7 - Software Downloads

Before attempting to download the software, please read the software license. By downloading the software, you have agreed to the terms and conditions of the software license.

Avaya IP Agent is copyrighted software, and is to be distributed under the agreement and terms of the purchase.

Use the following instructions to install the IP Agent software:

  1. Determine which installation configuration is required:
    IP Agent (Microsoft® Windows XP)
    IP Agent (Microsoft® Windows Vista 32bit)) or the
    IP Agent (Citrix) (Microsoft® Windows 2000 / 2003 server) version.
  2. Click on the appropriate link to download the Setup for IP Agent.
  3. Save the file to your hard drive.
  4. Run the IP Agent Setup file to start the installation.

IMPORTANT: You must have a valid IP Agent Release 7.0 license, and your Avaya Communication Manager server must be properly configured for the license before you can use IP Agent Release 7.0 in Road Warrior or Telecommuter mode or to control an Avaya telephone (via the server).

Installation Definition:

Standard - This is the standard IP Agent installation program for installing the product for the first time or for upgrading one of the previous releases. This setup type does a full installation without any restrictions. The user will be prompted for the appropriate information during the installation process.

Upgrade - This setup type does a product update and it requires that the computer already has a current version of Avaya IP Agent Release 7.0 installed. This setup type will update Avaya IP Agent to the currently supported release and will run without requiring any user input.

Tips for Searching Avaya Support

A good query consists of three things:

 Enclose exact words or phrases in double quotes. Include plus (+) to require words, minus (--) to exclude words, and OR between words. i.e. forwarding OR coverage + "all calls"-- remote


Don't include "special" characters in your search (i.e. &, <, >, *, $, / ,\, ....)


The more exact the phrases are to the actual title or string of text in a document, the better the results
