System Platform 6.2.2 (vsp-patch-6.2.2.09001.0.noarch.rpm) is used with Communication Manager 6.2 Service Pack 6 and installs on System Platform R6.2.1.0.9 (below) the same as a patch. System Platform patch 6.2.2.09001.0 can be installed on top of System Platform patch 6.2.2.08001.0 which is used with Communication Manager 6.2 Service Pack #5 (20396).

Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 6.2 Israel Daylight Saving Time Patch

This patch includes changes to Daylight Saving Time rules for Israel. This patch requires a full Linux reboot to take effect. Neglecting to reboot the server will put the system in jeopardy of unplanned resets as well as incoherent reporting (different processes using different times).

This patch sits on top of existing patches. Do not remove any previously installed patches when installing this DST patch. Installing this patch cannot be reversed. While update_deactivate will succeed, the new DST rules will not be removed.

This patch is a hot patch (non-service affecting) and over-writable (designed to be activated on top of currently activated CM patches/SPs). However, it is recommended that the patch be activated using the same instructions provided in the “Finding the installation instructions” section of PCN1792S.

NOTE: This patch is customer installable and remotely installable.

NOTE: Do not deactivate any existing CM patches or service packs running on the system before activating this patch. This patch is an over-writable patch and designed to be activated on top of currently activated CM patches/SPs.
