Description
An internal software error occurred when describing channel characteristics to the Resource Manager. The identified channel is unusable.
Repair procedure
To correct the problem:
- If the error is EINVAL, take these actions:
- Check the system to make sure that the number of cards installed is a legal configuration.
If too many channels are configured, the EINVAL error may occur. See Feature Licensing for more information.
- Renumber the voice channels.
- If the problem persists, or if the error is not EINVAL:
- Stop the voice system.
- Start the voice system.
- If the problem still persists, reboot the operating system.
- Contact your Avaya support representative if rebooting does not resolve the problem.
