
Default backup parameters screens
From this set of screens, you can either display or set up default parameters. These parameters determine where and when backups are performed, as well as how many system resources are used compared to other system activities.
Fields
The following fields are displayed by the browser:
- Cleanup full backup � How many days to keep a full backup file before deleting it. To never delete backup files, choose never.
- Cleanup partial backup � How many days to keep a partial backup file before deleting it. To never delete a backup file, choose never.
- Days � (Optional) Number of days' worth of files that are backed up (counting the present day). This can be a number between 1 and 90. For example, the most recent day is entered as 1, and the most recent two days are entered as 2.
- Full Backup Alarm Days � How many days after the last successful full backup is performed that you want a minor alarm placed in the log. Choose never if you do not want any alarms generated; otherwise choose a positive number.
- Location � The Network File System mount directory where the backup file is stored
- NFS Mount Directory � The directory on the Network File System where the backup file resides
- Priority � Whether the backup process should have a low or high priority compared to other processes
- Partial Backup Alarm Days � How many days after the last last successful partial backup is performed that a minor alarm is placed in the log. This may be a positive number, or never.
