Introducing Avaya Aura ™ Communication Manager Messaging

CM Messaging is a voice, text and fax messaging application.

Starting with Communication Manager release 5.2, Intuity Audix IA770 application is called CM Messaging.

CM Messaging embedded application resides on the same server as Communication Manager release 5.2. You can install the CM Messaging software on any of the following servers: S8300C, S8300D, S8400A, S8400B, S8500C, and S8510 Servers.

CM Messaging utilizes the basic platform functionalities and cannot function without Communication Manager. CM Messaging application integrates with Communication Manager using H.323 and / or Q.Sig over an IP Trunk.

New features or enhancements for CM Messaging release 5.2:

• Use Web screens to administer features provided by Communication Manager Messaging
• Communication Manager Messaging does not require a license file. The license file generated for Communication Manager includes the license requirements for the messaging application
• Increase voice mail ports capacities for the S8300 and S8400 Media Servers as follows:
• S8300 media server supports 12 call answer ports and 450 users
• S8400 media server supports 20 call answer ports and 900 users
• Support for S8500 and S8510 Servers. Scaled expansion for S8510 server to 210 call answer ports, 250 total ports, 6,000 mailboxes
• Enhanced List Administration (ELA)
• UDP Centralized Messaging System Extension (CMS)
• Subscriber Time Zone COS Administration

• CPN/ANI display to 39 digits
