Communication Manager Messaging may be installed on an S8300C, S8300D, S8400A, S8400B, S8510 or S8500C Server. Refer the appropriate field replacement unit guide for instructions on replacing the hard disk drive.
For example, the S8510 server uses RAID level 1 redundant disk drives. In case of a hard disk failure, the procedure is to hot-swap (replace) the failed drive, and the system will automatically detect the new drive and “re-mirror”.
After swapping the hard drive, you can use the CD-ROM that contains the Communication Manager Release 5.2 software to install both CM Messaging and
