TCP/IP is the form of digital networking
supported for Communication Manager Messaging. TCP/IP networking uses the Communication Manager server's Ethernet
connection,
which enables the messaging software to connect to a customer's LAN.
TCP/IP network access is automatically available with the messaging
software through the TCP/IP connections of
the Communication Manager server, and no specific TCP/IP administration for the
messaging software is required.
Message Manager is an
optional add on application that operates with messaging. For more
