New features and changes for IA 770
|
Avaya IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX Messaging Application Release 4.0 (IA 770 R4.0) is an incremental development in the IA 770 product line. IA 770 R4.0 continues to provide embedded voice messaging for Avaya’s Branch Office solutions delivered via the G700, G350, G250, S8300, and S8400 servers.
IA 770 R4.0 has the following new features and changes:
- The Messaging Administration Web pages have new look and feel.
The Messaging Administration Web pages now have a navigation bar on the left side of the page.
- The Messaging Administration Customer Options Web page includes a SyncWithLicense line.
The SyncWithLicense line shows whether the Messaging Customer Options have been synchronized with the License. If the value is OFF and it has been more than 30 minutes since the system has started, then a proper license might not be installed. To correct this, contact your Service Technician or Avaya Customer Services Representative.
- The Messaging Administration System Evaluation Web page includes an Auto Attendants report.
The Auto Attendants report shows a list of the auto attendants administered on the IA 770 system. The report displays the auto attendants extension and name. If no auto attendants are administered, the report displays NONE for the auto attendants extension.
- CWY1 switch integration is not supported on IA 770 R4.0.
Systems that are currently using CWY1 switch integration that will be upgraded to R4.0 must also be upgraded to use H.323 multimedia communications.
- The Calling Party Number (CPN) feature is a standard feature on IA 770 R4.0.
If the CPN feature is enabled, the calling party’s phone number will be played out or shown when you retrieve a message from TUI or Message Manager.
