This topic provides information about modifying the community selected
for existing SNMP network management stations (NMSs) capable of
receiving alarm and event information. NMSs can be configured to receive
(but not to acknowledge) alarm and event information.
To modify an existing SNMP trap destination:

On the Administer SNMP Trap Destinations page, select the SNMP NMS that
you want to modify.
- Click Change.
- Complete the fields on the Change An Existing SNMP NMS for Alarms
page. You can click the field names
or Help to view more
information.
- Click Save.
The system saves your changes.
- Click OK to confirm changes to the selected
community.
The system displays the Administer SNMP Trap Destinations page
with an updated list of existing NMSs capable of receiving system
alarms.
