Certain commands require a restart of the decision-maker process before they take effect:
bgp link module ustat module engine provider-as neighbor allow-next-hop-self neighbor link neighbor remote-as neighbor shutdown vip
After entering any of these commands, including no forms, enter the restart decision-maker command, or you can use the medic call command:
medic call <engine_slot> decision-maker restart
