provider-as

Sets the Autonomous System number on a service provider link.

Syntax

provider-as <number> <address>
 
no provider-as

Arguments

number--integer in the range 0 through 65,535; a valid AS number (top of range is reserved for private AS numbers)
address--hostname or IP address of the service provider link, in dotted decimal format (a.b.c.d)

Prerequisites

Must be in link configuration mode (config-engine-link--see link command), which requires privileged-level access.

Occurrence

Use once.

Description

The no form of the command removes the link AS from the configuration.
