Removing a CNA agent from a hive

Once a CNA agent registers with a hive, it is not removed from the hive's database unless you do so manually. This functionality prevents the hive from losing track of agents that may be temporarily unavailable. If you are sure that you no longer want to use a specific CNA agent, manually remove it.

To manually remove a CNA agent:

  1. Access privileged command mode. To access this mode, enter the following command: enable.
  2. Enter the following command:

chatter remove-cna-agent ip-address <ip>

where <ip> is the IP address of the specific CNA agent to remove.

For more information on this command, see chatter remove-cna-agent in the CNA Command Reference Guide.
